The death of a pet can elicit strong feelings very similar to the grief felt from the loss of a human companion. Many people have strong emotional and social relationships with their pets and it is therefore important to recognize that it is okay to take as much time to grieve as you feel is necessary. It is normal for you to display grief when your pet dies, other pet owners will have experienced what you are now feeling and it is acceptable to feel this way.
As pet owners ourselves we are able to understand how you may be feeling at the loss of your pet. When the time comes we will bury your pet for you in a sympathetic but professional manner, giving your pet the respect they deserve as they are laid to rest.
